Madeleine Martinez adding a couple of synths and a drum machine doesn't make it from the eighties, but it does make it a very good copy. Believe it or not, despite the song's simplicity it sounds far too sophisticated to be an original eighties track, in my opinion. But I love now, how the eighties are informing new young bands.
