i think in the recording it's tuned down a half step but the chords are G and C add9 as well as an Em7 i think

I found that if you play it as a Gsus2 and a Cadd9 it sounds pretty identical to this The "and I try..." bit is Em Gsus2 Em Cadd9 - play around with those three chords to find the right kinda way to play it
