Current P&W Tones /// Small board w/ HX Stomp /// FREE PRESET included

I've lost my mind! Due to not playing much, I sold the FM9 and majorly downsized. The remaining dollars were put to good use. A few of these pedals were really good deals. A few of them were gifts from some good friends who supported my decision. I built the board and soldered all the patch cables myself.
This video... isn't the greatest. I spent longer on it than I care to admit. I don't know how KZbinrs do it. Hopefully you like the sounds and want to skeef this preset from me. If not, no harm done.
Tell me what other effects you're enjoying from the Stomp? Did any of my choices surprise you?

@@ryanpappenfuss I am typically a DIY kind of guy but a friend overseas has this made for him but he didn’t use it and sent it to me. The board is from PedalPCB and it’s a really neat layout if you don’t mind how close the switches are to each other. I did paint it gold, if that counts for anything 😅 I also drilled out and rehoused my SuperBolt and painted it the same gold as well as build this board and all the cables, etc. I should’ve went into a little more detail about all that but I was trying to keep the video from getting too boring. I’ll probably do a follow up video.

Curious why you chose to go with the HX stomp pedalboard over the Fractal FM9?

@@JoshuaTreeTv I talked about it a bit in the description. The longer version is I’ve been running sound full time for a year now and rarely getting to play. As Fractal keeps dropping newer hardware versions and I still had an original non-turbo, I decided the sooner I sold it the better. It wasn’t getting more valuable in my closet haha. On the side, I’ve been trying to build some guitars but haven’t had much spare cash to fool with it. I was able to do this downsize / downgrade and put a good chunk toward guitar parts and supplies and tools. I still think Fractal has the most realistic modeling and better effects. I may be back some day. For now, I’m making this work and I’m pretty surprised how happy I am with it.

Sounds great bro. Miss ya in the fractal fam, still rocking my OG Fm9 but i have a back up board almost exactly like yours, I also hate the verbs in the stomp but no one will ever know whether you have a stomp or a mercury x from the audience.

@@rogerbakke7535 thanks Roger. Yeah, Fractal’s better in many ways but I’m liking this setup. It’s nice having analog drive pedals again. And you are correct, no one could tell in a mix.
