FWI for those interested....opportunistic scanning for Brain Aneurysm is already available via Aidoc's 'Always On' method of applying AI to every existing CTA no matter the indication for the study. This technology can be applied in a retrospective or prospective manner.

I have been having one-sided head pressure for 5 months now. It typically kicks in after being awake for about 2 hours and lasts until I go to sleep. I had an MRI 3 months ago and nothing was found. When do I get another MRI to be certain that this isn’t the precursor to an aneurism?

You need an angiogram to spot an aneurysm. My mother's was not found on her MRI or CT scan - but showed up on a CT angiogram. Best wishes.

@@CritterHouseUSA thanks. I have finally gotten some answers, or at least some treatment that is working. It seems I have a minor neck injury that is causing my headaches. I am getting relief through physical therapy.
