My first aneurysm got brust in 2020 so pterional craniotomy and microvascular clipping was done. To prevent brusting of my second aneurysm stent (flow divertor) was implanted in 2022 but after somedays it got blocked and gave me ischemic stroke. Now I have 2 clips in brain's left hemisphere &1 stent in brain's right hemisphere.

I tried to get a second opinion and they told me I would have to go to an outside place because it would be a conflict of interest to the other neurosurgeons in that group. I said a conflict of interest to who, their egos? The patient is the one who needs and deserves reassurance.

I am so grateful for what you all are doing. When my mother got her brain aneurysm rupture, I relied on BAF to understand what's going on. Many thanks, and stay blessed. Best wishes from Sri Lanka ❤🎉

I am a 71 yr. old female with that being the only risk factor I have. My blood pressure is usually to the low side, and I don't smoke and never have. I don't drink much at all. I have a 6mm SHA aneurysm and a 2mm one too. These were discovered when I had a TIA stroke. I am scheduled for a cerebral angiogram next month.

I was very surprised that endovascular coiling leads to more cognitive problems than the craniotomy clipping. Helpful information to make a decision. Thanks BAF.

I bless God for full recovery from raptured brain aneurysm last year. The teachings of BAF have been very helpful in teaching me the intricacies of the condition. My doctors might not have told me much or I seem not to have suffered severe damages as a result I bless God today and forever

I'm 73 years old, with a fusiform aneurysm (deep, right side) that was found during a brain scan after a fall that seriously damaged my right shoulder and ribs. My doctors in Ft. Worth have advised me to have an annual scan. I just finished my one-year scan, and no abnormalities were found. Many years ago, I studied in Boston and would love to come back for the conference, but it's not possible at this time. Thanks to all of you who care about us.

My aunt was going under flow diverter procedure. But our doctor said that during the process her blood pressure elevated to 200 to 220 as well as she went into Arythmia. So he abandoned the procedure and said that he didn't place the flow diverter. And said he will have a CT Scan tomorrow to check if there was some bleeding after he abandoned the procedure. If there is no changes then he will discharge her with some medicines to control her blood pressure.. can this be true. ? Please help

I was 8 weeks pregnant, when i felt & heard a pop inside of my head. An undiagnosed aneurysm had ruptured. I could no longer feel/move my left side of my body. I knew I was dying. I was taken to the hospital, where my family was given little hope. I had suffered a SAH & had pressure on my brain.

Thanks for taking the time for these educational videos. I survived a rupture. Sept 23. Turned out I had 2 small ones. I was blessed that so many from the 911 team the Local hospital then Careflight to Ft Worth. Rupture was 8mm, and I never knew it was there! Had no idea I was at risk as I was adopted at birth. Is there a website to connect patients by state?

Thank you yes useful information!! I am a rupture aneurysm survivor, over six months! Out of the blue, middle of the night, symptoms hit me hard. Er diagnosis was one rupture and 2 un ruptured aneurysms! Are flight to Ft Worth hospital, and immediate coiling saved my life. Yes I had paralysis rx side that resolved within days! Love the mind diet information. I regularly exercise on a total gym frequently plus have followed the nutrition menu for several months. Have any of your physicians leading this research, noted about biofeed therapy? I have been getting biofeed therapy for four monthand discussed the benefit I see with my internal medicine physician! Feeling great at 71: 95% back to normal life

Great information. I survived SAH Sept 2023 and doing well. The doctor and nurses in ICU helped me understand what happened when I wasn’t able to ask the questions. The nursing team was constantly checking on me and my husband who was scared! There were 3 aneurysms, one rupture, two non ruptures. Six month angiogram shows rupture healed well, other 2 have grown. Many options ahead for the moment I feel so blessed for all the persons who watched over.
