your journal key holder kanji. 信州 refers to the old name for what is now Nagano Prefecture in Japan. 善光寺 is the famous temple known as a place everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime, which is my Dads hometown. we visit there every time we go to nagano. hope you do when you get a chance🥰

I actually bought the charm at Zenkoji temple!! I went to Japan earlier this year in March and visited Nagano. It was snowing heavily the day we went to Zenkoji and it was so beautiful, I wish I could share the videos I took. It’s so amazing that your dad is from there, and even more amazing that you saw my video and left a comment - the connection is so cool! I will definitely visit Japan again - Nagano was amazing, we rented a car and lived in a traditional style airbnb house, we also went to Togakushi shrine and the monkey hot spring park!

❤❤ More cat inclusions please! Thanks for sharing your system, I’m diagnosed ADHD and keep being told to try time blocking…I’ve just grabbed a vertical planner sheet book I’ve got to try it, so thanks for the nudge 😂

Oh I had no idea time blocking was encouraged for ADHD! Let me know how it works for you :) it really helps me understand what’s coming up in the day especially since my rings lie flat and I leave it on my desk to refer to throughout the day

Thanks for sharing! I liked what you said about using your notebook for unfiltered thoughts, I'd like to try. I've mostly done it digitally. I've held back from physically writing this kind of thing because it feels like ... tarnishing (?) the notebook, with all the negative thoughts... Or like they're somehow solidified and final on paper. Also I worry people will read it and take some unintentional meanings from it.
@catspocketnote3 ай бұрын
Oh I 100% get how you feel about 'tarnishing' a notebook. But I can honestly say it's really worthwhile journalling about those topics and not just journalling for happy memory keeping. I had to remind myself that all my thoughts and feelings (even the negative ones) are valuable and deserve the space they take up in my notebooks. Your worry about others reading your negative words is a genuine concern too, i think it comes from internal 'shame' but you should give yourself the grace to have those 'shameful' thoughts and the space to let them out in order to work through them... sorry this ended up sounding like a self-help post lol

How did your marathon run go? My brother ran in the Adelaide marathon.
@catspocketnote3 ай бұрын
It went well!! I’m proud of myself for the time I got but lowkey think I maybe could go faster… it’s funny leading up to the marathon and during the marathon I kept telling myself this was the only one I would do, and now I’m already thinking of doing another! When was the Adelaide marathon? And how did he find it?
