I honestly think that the MiragexWraith thing only had the chance to happen a few years ago when the lore still used the comics a lot, the writers seemed to be cooking something, I even remember a clone of Mirage himself in one of the comics saying something like: "wait, I thought Wraith was the one you liked". at the time when no one knew what the relationship between Mirage and Rampart was. And even today Rampart and Mirage sometimes joke about not commenting on certain things around Wraith or she will get jealous.

yeah you might be right. I've always really liked the Mirage and Wraith relationship even if it's nothing more than friends. Would just be nice to see more lore between the 2 of them played out, I feel like everything we've had for the 2 of them has mostly been small subtle moments in trailers or comics.

@caseofthis3014 Wattson's curiosity and playful personality encourage Crypto to open up and trust others, while Crypto's calculated and methodical approach helps ground Wattson when her energy or emotions might overwhelm her. They are brilliant in their fields Wattson as an electrical engineer and Crypto as a hacker (or whatever he does, idk) They appreciate each other’s intelligence, often sharing insights with each other, forming a strong foundation for their relationship. Wattson helps Crypto see the brighter side of life, teaching him to trust and find joy, while Crypto helps Wattson develop resilience and caution, which she might otherwise lack, encouraging personal growth in both characters. To me, this is the only "natural" feeling relationship in the game. Fuse and Bloodhound feels forced, and Loba, Bangalore, and Valkyrie is just a mess.

Hi! I haven't finished watching this video, but I wanted to say that what I think happened in a few comics and in an Apex event is that Loba thought Bangalore and her were hitting it off pretty good but then Bang friendzoned her really hard. And that hurt Loba a lot. Bangalore was as well conflicted bc she did feel they were having a connection but not the romantic type (this is the part where I'm confused on if she realized later they were indeed romantic or not, when Loba and Valk were together)

@ Yep, you've nailed it. That's pretty much what happened. They were never together per say. I do feel like Bangalore maybe realised she liked Loba more, just by her reaction in that very comic. We've not seen too much since apart from a few little moments, for example in the saviours launch trailer which I put a few clips in this video.

i stopped playing apex when i started uni but i was there since the very start and the lore was everything for me. I've been coming back to watch some gameplays and always wondered what happened with the lore, so you just uploading this made my day! yeah I'm with you, even when the game isn't fun I still look to the lore and enjoy it. Good question about Wraith and Watson. They have such a cute relationship. I used to love the interactions they had about Wattson seeing a ghost (voidwalker wraith) back in the early seasons. To be honest they've not has as much interaction in the lore recently. It's been more Crypto and Wattson.

I don’t read/watch everything that comes out for Apex, but if I remember correctly, it’s also canon that Mirage sees Rampart as a sibling. Wasn’t there a comic addressing that? I see Wraith and Mirage as a fun duo but I personally don’t see them as a couple. We’ll see what happens though.

I feel like some people don't understand that not every legend has to be in a romantic relationship with another legend. We've got Newcastle for example who already has a family. Basically I'm trying to say that there is no reason to do something unnecessary for no real reason, but it's great if the lore overall is expanding. Personally I'd much rather like to see more references to Titanfall, lore of the Apex/Titanfall universe or some shit than relationships.

I hope Mirage and Wraith come off as platonic life partners to me. It's not as complicated as Octane and Lifeline's relationship. I am biased because I do have a non-binary friend who gave me a lot of emotional support over the last 3 years. So it'd be nice to see male and female best friends instead of lovers. Not that I am against it, but if there was a straight relationship, I think Mirage and Wraith could make that happen if the lore writers take it that way.
