Hi.. I just came across this valuable briefing from Dr. Casagranda Two points to make: Northern Iraq is historically an Assyrian land and has been forcefully kurdified. I don't believe it should be academically kurdified too by calling it "kurdistan" Second point.. the kurds didn't declare independence in 2017, they held a referendum for independence and the kurds voted yes. However this wasn't auctioned due to the Iraqi central military intervention

Algiers, Tunis and Tripoli were actual states like Morocco, nominally under the authority of the Ottoman Empire, conducting their own foreign policy --and indeed, they recognized the US independence round about 1795 for the State of Algiers; it is just that they had Turkish speaking elites ruling them. This might be a reason why the Ottoman Empire did not get involved; so the comparison with Louisiana or Porto Rico is quite stretched. A comparison with the present British Commonwealth would be more accurate and reasonable.

Question session: Kuwait,Bahamian and Oman are wealthy countries why don't they take the burden of refugees if they consider themselves as a Muslim ummah (brotherhood) ?
@sinslang890
@sinslang890 2 жыл бұрын
. Those wealthy countries you mentioned actually help and not pretend to help. Unlike the countries responsible for the refugee problem. Like the iranian regime with the sabotage and destabilization of Syria , Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen. How come Turkey and their puplets like Qatar and Muslim brotherhood dont help these refugees? But only help their juhadi groups into further chaos like in Libya ,Syria and Iraq . The wealthy Arabian gulf countries along with Jordan and Kurdistan Allowed many people in from Lebanon ,Iraq ,Syria , Yemen and Libya. Giving them freedom of movement. Allowing them to open businesses. Unlike Iran where they would not be admitted. Inless thwy had to be of a certain islamic sect. Unlike Tirkey who would just want them to dwell at sea or Tents on the Turkish/Syiran border in terrible conditions.
@mohamedsamy1431
@mohamedsamy1431 Жыл бұрын
How about the invaders who caused the refugees problem in the first place take care of that burden? Wouldn't that be much more appropriate? Also, not all of these refugees are Muslims, why does this have anything to do with being "A Muslim Ummah"? People often forget that the middle east has religious diversity. Another reason is, rich people don't like sharing. It's the same like asking, "Why don't people like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos end homelessness and extreme poverty in the US?".
@sinslang890
@sinslang890 Жыл бұрын
@@mohamedsamy1431 They dont share , but they do help. They share with their own citizens. Much like any other country. Like i said the Arabian gulf countries do help the refugees . Along with Jordan. Unlike some governments like the Iranian and Turkish regimes who only pretend to help. But are the main causes for the dictators, militias and armed extremist groups that have ruined Syria, Iraq, Libya , lebanon and Yemen.

There are 2 types of arabs. In arabic there is a word for it like old and new. Old arabs "عاربة" traced back to Ismael son of Ibrahim (the prophet) peace be upon him. New arabs "مستعربة" is the other side of the coin. Could be the result of nations embracing Islam in times of Islamic renaissance. Maybe this could help. thanks.

I have seen your videos and noticed some inaccuracies. For example, you mention that Arabs did not force people to convert to Islam and that they were liberal. However, you did not mention that non-Muslims were required to pay the jizya tax. While I am not suggesting that other civilizations were better, it is important to present all the facts accurately.

It's normal. The US never got its independence before going to war. The European Union wasn't formed until Europeans fought two bloody world wars. People need to fight out their differences first before agreeing to sit on the same table and negotiate, then negotiations turn into resolutions, then resolutions materialize in the form of laws. The Middle East is hardly given that chance because of foreign interests.

@@azzam3109 is France colonized by Germany? no. So unless your an odious hypocrite you will realize that Ethiopia was occupied by fascist italy for 5 years nevertheless it was never colonized in fact nazi german managed to form its own system of governance, bureaucracy specially in North-western german for 5 years whereas fascist italy only managed to occupy the capital addis ababa and couple of towns 85% of Ethiopian land was under direct or Indirect control of Ethiopian patriotic forces.
