Hi Ana, they use different technologies. The Jovs use laser technology and the CB2 uses LED Light therapy. To be completely honest I prefer the coverage of the eye area from the CB2 mask. I like that they have concentrated lights on the eye area and I saw amazing results for my dark circles with the CB2 mask with just a few uses more than I saw with the Jovs. I did see great results when I used the Jovs and it's a very unique technology, but honeslty for the price difference I feel the CB2 it's a better deal than the Jovs.

I ordered this LED mask series 2 after seeing all the great reviews and promotions, but unfortunately, my experience has been very different. The light intensity is way too high, even with the eye protection (which does nothing but feel uncomfortable), causing discomfort and even pain in my eyes. It's not safe for me to use, and the customer service has been unhelpful. Returning it will also cost you money! I expected much more from a product marketed as safe and effective. Be cautious if you're thinking about buying!

Hi sorry to hear that. I have had no issues with the light and I often even use without the eye protection. But I do understand that some people are more sensitive to lights near the eyes. My husband is exactly like you when comes to lights near the eyes and I will be posting a review of the only LED mask my husband can use because he is sensitive to lights in general.
