It's a great pen! Very comfortable and just the right tone of orange I was looking for! I got it on Amazon for $69 .

I am sorry to hear about your cat. I too lost my dog a month ago and I bought a pen to remember her. I carry the pen every day. I hope you carrying the pen helps you heal. Rachelle in Seattle

I'm sorry your lost your pooch Rachelle! It's been very rough. Still burst into tears when I think of him, he was my spirit animal and something within me died with him. Thankfully I still have his twin brother but when Cassius goes, I don't imagine I'll be in a good place. Losing pets is the worst.

Ahh…love your new Kilk; so pretty. Kilk has been on my to-buy list since last year. The Kobe ink was a perfect match! I have Gas Works Park in a fine Sailor and it’s wonderful. Definitely perfect for those drier nibs. Have a great weekend!

Yes I imagine Gasworks Park will be perfect as well ! I def recommend the Kilk. It's gorgeous - and it's making me very happy.

Have you always been a color matcher? We're on pen 4 and it's all matchy-matchy. I never noticed before.

OMG Lorelei, I was watching your video on mute b/c I was on the phone and when you wrote with your Lady Bastet Kilk, I was like, "that's a gorgeous pink! OMG what is it!" And then I read the name and i'm like, "ah no wonder I like it, I already have it LOL!" It's a great first color to match your Kilk!! :) Such a pretty and lovely new pen - congrats on the new acquisition! Very happy you like it ^_^ Beautiful lineup of pens for August!

@@KenchanKrafts 😂 I’ve done that before! Although after writing more with it I’m finding it to be skipping a bit with this ink so I think I may re-ink it. Bummer. It may have been an issue with the paper. Lotsa testing still needs to happen 😅

@@HandmadebyLorelei Sunset of that day isn't a wet ink. It's slightly dry. But Kilks are usually quite wet writers, so definitely will need to test if that's the paper or the ink's fault xD

Thanks for sharing your August pens. Few things - that nib stamp set is awesome. Also, I totally get what you said about the initial pics of the Kilk. Even in the video all I was saying this is the first Kilk colab I don’t like. Maybe it’s because I am not a cat person 🤷‍♀️ But your video has done a much better job of showing the beauty of this pen. Congrats and enjoy your new pen.

I'm glad to hear that my video does a better job showing this pen off. I wonder why they boosted the color so much on the website photos. It almost looks like red instead of the pink.

You always choose such a nice combination of colors. My currently inked at any given moment is a complete mish mash 😂

There's no planning ahead of time, I guess I've just gotten lucky- I just ink each pen individually never thinking about the way the palette will look on the screen. But I'm glad you like it!
