12:22 : 😂 I have the Lamy AL-Star “vibrant pink.” There’s no pink in that pen, that thing is straight up purple! I call it my Prince pen after the one and only, Prince 👑

xD Lamy can be so silly sometimes! But I think some names are just like that if they aren't creative with it haha. Blue green? More like Emerald. Vibrant pink? Perhaps Prince purple. Lol :D I love how you renamed your pen :) That's awesome! I also was eyeing that vibrant pink AL sport too, I like the way the matte aluminum shines.

I recently heard some say the R in the ALR means Revised.

Interesting... what I do know is the R versions have a color metal cap section whereas the ALs thermselves don't have that. So "revised" makes a lot of sense. Thanks for that information, Valerie! :)

Hello~ i actually have the jade rosegold Twsbi and im quite happy with it i would have prefered a more olivey- green, but its still a very beautiful fountain pen i got mine in Fine and i love writing with it ♥

Yes, exactly that! I wished it was more olive or a bit more muted, maybe on the darker teal side lol! Anything but a straight up green would have made me buy it, but it is beautiful regardless of my personal preferences. I do like the way my TWSBIs write, glad you're also enjoying it! @@museumofmuse hi there! Thanks so much for watching my video! I believe some I used the kakimori nib and others I used cotton swabs. The kakimori might be the ones that you can see stroke marks to make it look clean XD they’re such fun and useful cards for swatching! I have a full 9x9 binder of all my ink collection.

I just got that Benu Talisman Edelweiss with a fine nib since I already own a Talisman in Wild Rose with a medium nib and find it writes more like a broad. ;) I put Monteverde Smoke Noir in it… which might seem like a boring pairing, but I love the writing experience. I have to be careful now not to neglect my other pens. :)

Yes, my broad writes like a double broad almost!! It feels broader than my twsbi broad. One of my viewers commented that the f,m,b are about 0.6, 0.7, and 0.8mm so that's pretty thick by itself. I would probably like the medium since Journaling with my broader thicker nibs have been a better experience for me on tomoe River paper. I just got a fine nib to screw in and replace this broad (all the mediums were sold out), but the nib was scratchy T_T so I'll need to figure out how to fix that manually. Also if the pairing isn't boring to you or you like it, that's what matters most! ^_^

you can rub some silicone grease on there to make it stop squeeking :)

I could have done that and it's OK to use there, but when I looked inside that kaweco, the metal part was slightly bent or damaged, so it's more than what the grease can fix. I forgot to insert the video clip in that section of the video haha!!! You'll hate the squeaky noise, it's worse than my plastic sport lol

@@KenchanKrafts Yeah your best bet is to contact the company you got it from and tell ask them if they perhaps can help fix it or change it at that point I hate mis threading screw threads thats annoying ;(

@@MissMarilynDarling There was a sale on the pen a few days after I received mine and I was going to return it and purchase the cheaper sale! But I decided..that's too petty! But then when I opened the pen, it was indeed a return-valid pen, so I've already returned it. Will watch for when the pen drops to 45 again! XD

Hahaha!! XD touche, that's totally fine, too! I just prefer looking at the FWP ink boxes over the bottles, and they won't fall over as easily in the box haha. How many FWP ink bottles do you have?

@@KenchanKrafts I threw away my first 2 or 3 and then when I got one that was exceptionally pretty I thought I should keep it. Then I regretted tossing the first few. Then I was like, no it's okay. 🤣🤣🤣 I get the 38mL bottles and I bought these cosmetic organizer for compacts and the 38mL bottles fit perfectly in them.
