Hello!
Teachers should be familiar with the national curriculum and syllabus to have power to evaluate the coursebook and make the necessary adaptations. In this video, Prof. Dr. Aydan Ersöz explains what curriculum and syllabus are by giving examples. She also shows how to decide if a coursebook is written in line with the syllabus.

Maalesef müfredat ve bakanlığın dağıttığı kitapların en çok çeliştiği ders İngilizce. 5. sınıf çocuklarına verilen kitaplara bakıyorum kitabın yarısı kağıt israfı olmuş. İnatla müfredat yerine kitaba bağlı kalan hocalarımız ise bambaşka bir sorun. Bazı sınıf düzeylerinde güzel kitaplar var fakat çoğunluğu vasatın altı. Bu kadar iyi yazılmış programa keşke daha uyumlu kitaplar eşlik etse.
