Not spicy at all… just curry flavour. Dude had to add the chili oil to it to make it spicy. Just make sure the curry blend you get/have does not contain any spicy ingredients.

Use a plate and put the rice on it and then put the meat stuff on top or on the side. That way it is easier to mix them together, your way.

Very good recipe Flo. Chinese curried anything is always my fav. "Finger meat" ??? Is that a translation from Chinese ? My butcher never heard of it. Does it have another more popular name ? Where do you get it ? For this recipe, I think beef tongue might work very good. I'll try it.

Hot Pepper Lala, that is an electric, programmable pressure cooker called an Instant Pot. It is a brand that is sold everywhere, especially on Amazon! Check it out! Great investment if you enjoy cooking.
@CdnChopSuey2 жыл бұрын
I attempted this recipe Sunday night. I found it to be a bit too labour intensive for me. It did however still came out tasting very good. However it was just as flavorful as the Malaysian curry in the Instant Pot method that's also on this channel circa 2015. Mind you, the other method was for chicken and this is finger meat so there's that. That's just me.. there are some great ingredients in here but ... I can't be bothered :P
@karsimuk18492 жыл бұрын
I use instant pot and follow exactly the same procedure. The taste is good, but the potato’s were not soft while my beef was totally over cooked. Even in the radio the potato’s seemed not soft or tender at all. Need to adjust the order of the recipe.
