Great that the shop is coming together! Miss the farmers market video and interaction with the people. But your moving on! As you mentioned in the video, love the tip benders. You can tailor just how and where to apply the gentle curve to correct bent knife tips or bends in the blade. There are limits though depending on the steel.

You are awesome -- not necessarily for your knife sharpening (although you are great at sharpening) but the quality you have designed for your tools -- WELL -- I love it. Old man here that still uses an oil stone and a leather strop. QUESTION: What exactly did you do for the serrated blades?

Aloha Cliff, Congratulations on the store it looks amazing. I been following you for a few years and just to think that you worked your way up to getting a store front thats so amazing. I finally took the leap and recently built (2) Harbor freight 1x30 exactly how you shared on your video. I also bought (2) Deluxe upgrade wheel kit and (2) Ultimate Belt kit from you, can you give a recommendation on what stropping compound and spray that I should use and would buy from you. Also I live on Oahu and would love to come out to Maui someday to meet you, check out the store and maybe watch you do some sharpening in person or do some training if that’s possible. Thanks for the great videos and information. Mahalo nui

Hey Cliff, what to you think about Systems like the Tormek T8? I got one myself and use it exclusively for knifes. The results are amazing, but compared to you my method takes forever

Another terrific vid, Cliff! Trying to watch all of the ones from the beginning - love it! I'm curious if that is really Teflon tape though; looks more like brown packing tape for a tape gun - as long as it works, though. Teflon and kapton tape are more translucent - I've been wondering why you weren't already using one of those. Blessings!

really good video, mate, what do you use to wipe down at the end, please. i use an MDF wheel,[ Medium density fibre board], with white metal polish to hone and polish, then i use a generic water dispersant spray to wipe down and clean off residue,. i am very tempted to change over to your system from my wet wheel , but i dont have the turn over to justify the cost,

Pretty sure in another video he said denatured alcohol on the wipe down.

Really love your videos, Cliff. My only beef is that you make it look so easy😊 I guess practice makes perfect. Your new shop looks great with those Rikon soldiers all lined up. Question - I see that youve left the disc sander and shroud on these. Are not finding them in the way, or have you just learned to 'deal with' them?
