I’ve been running the campaign for the past year and we have reached the very end of the campaign. The party was able to get her brother to the temple and resurrect her. I thought very long about her choices. Once she is restored to life, she has to know that Strahd had centuries in which he could have brought her back. Instead, he left her in a crypt while creating bride after bride with other women. So, it doesn’t make sense for her to want to return to Strahd. She would likely want to see him dead so she can become ruler.

I totally forgot her in the main campaign, so I’ve made her the post-Strahd adversary. She’s running a cult intending to bring Strahd back through communing with Orcus.

My first party resurrected her, but then Strahd came to investigate the scream and triggered the final battle. Her and K snuck off in the confusion. Campaign fizzled out though. Second party ignored her crypt and never replied the two times Kasimir asked them about AT.

Patrina is such a B####… if I remember correctly she even betray her brother in one of the endings.

Also, I don't think she would be able to unify the land or become a lich, the dark powers always deny the dark lord it's biggest desire, she wants power and eternal life, so they will not give her those things for free, it will always be temporary and with a price.

Good video. Still dislike. Because I must be unique or I will combust XD My patrina Is heavily influenced by the grave cleric wood elf PC of the party (secret dusk elf) Patrina to me would be more involved with the nobility that rahadon hated. I've had her have a secret relationship with the weak Prince, she wanted an heir as she saw the elves would lose to king Barov. In doing so she kept the child in a stasis void in the Amber temple. In the sarcophagus of Tamaruuk the Grave Wyrm (a former servant of Raven Queen). To bring out the last of the Royal bloodline when appropriate. She would of course visit her child and be a mother to her. Sidenote: the dusk elves are all shader Kai, and I've had Patrina be more resentful of losing colour pigment and beauty that the tales of old shader Kai had. She also does not like the elves being complacent subjects to the Raven Queen. When the mists came and elves defeated, there was little benefit to bring out the Svalich heir yet. So she waited some more. Mists came to barovia. She made a deal with the dark powers for them to let her daughter escape the mists In the promise that her daughter will return to barovia and open the sarcophagus for tamaruk. Destroying strahd if she can not get him to love her. And so. The PC was just a child when she was in the Amber temple and her memory was wiped. And sent out of barovia. The PC's first memory was in a a snow storm in the mountains outside of a city where she would make her living after being saved by a figure wearing a cloak of feathers. (The Raven Queen who will use the daughter to kill destroy strahd. ---- The PC basically has been given a quest by her vestige (the Grave Wyrm) which is to repair a moonblade using parts of weapons given to all the brides. This will restore the Svalich Moonblade "the Umbral Ambassador". And since the cleric is royalty. She is the only one that can wield it. Patrina if she is resurrected will use her daughter to put herself on the throne. Context: -no one except patrina knows that the cleric is her daughter. -the Grave Wyrm is a shadow dragon that used to be an enforcer for the Raven Queen that was put into a moonblade for betraying her and the elves. The Svalich families sword The crow Prince (the Grave clerics father) was killed by Rahadin during the genocide and the Grave wyrms soul was separated into 4 weapons for each bride. --- Feel free to ask any questions 😀

Strahd primed to be replaced by a female character, who would otherwise play a very minor role in the story? Better stats, smarter, and more powerful than the character the entire adventure was named for? Where have I seen this before? Oh, that's right... *_EVERYWHERE._* FOR OVER A DECADE. My table is officially a "no girl-boss zone."
