Fun fact: If I remember correctly, ‘Humpty Dumpty’ wasn’t originally about an egg person. It was about a cannon that fell from a fortress wall and got damaged. Makes more sense for the nursery rhyme.

Apparently that origin story was proposed in the 1990s. A similar origin story (from the 1950s) claimed it was an unsuccessful siege tower (used to scale walls). Where it really came from we will never know.
