If you've not done already, you should play through Keyes. It works in this version of the mod and has a hilarious moment involving the good captain himself. Oh, and the "oh no" you keep hearing are the D20 grenades cooking off, hence the random stuff that happens!

@@HiddenXperia There's actually multiple different tool gun effects. Crash, as Nox highlighted, will cause the game to crash, Remover will remove entities from the game, which can cause problems or crashes itself as well, Random, which is just the D20 grenade in gun form, and Thruster, which attaches thrusters to things. There might be more I haven't seen, but any time you get a tool gun, best to see what the effect on the screen is before firing it. The Crash and Remover tool guns are probably best left alone.

So funnily enough, the Crash gun never actually crashes my game. It is very chaotic though. It was actually the Remover gun that kept crashing my game on The Maw; it kept causing segmentation faults.

@@bblibb The Crash gun tends to crash the game in indoor spaces as the projectile gets faster with each surface it collides off of until the game can’t keep up and hard crashes. In open spaces there’s a good chance the projectile will just bounce up into the sky or a pit or even go far enough to despawn. The remover gun really likes to crash the game as the game doesn’t know what to do with missing assets sometimes. For someone like the player, it makes sense, but it’ll crash against Sentinels and the Flood too. Funny how in making Keyes better in T&R (despite seemingly being just as squishy. Inferno swears he made him tankier by increasing his HP value during the premier charity race), he also made him more of a threat to everyone around him.

In case anybody's curious, the Tool Gun Keyes picks up on T&R is the deletion tool. As someone who killed an entire D20-worth of Marines just before the cutscene, Keyes getting mad at you makes it next to impossible to finish the level.

Inferno has said that Cursed Halo 3 is his next big project! He does have plans for Cursed Halo 2, and he has made some Cursed multiplayer mods like the nearly frictionless multiplayer maps, but in his words, Halo 3 has a lot more potential for cursing.
