For how long I’ve lived near the siren at 0:45, i barely know anything about it other than it only gets activated for special events and I think it’s a sterling that got butchered. It was replaced by a modulator which doesn’t work, so both kinda just sit dormant

Yes this was a sterling or horizontal sirens of any sort. And yeah, the old place was demolished and rebuilt and they of course installed a modulator.
