A straightforward explanation of how they are formed would be they are simply formed by an amalgamation of negative emotions that flow out of Humans. They build up like Sediment until a spirit forms. More populous places = More/Stronger negative emotions = Stronger curse.

Just looking at your white bookshelves in the back ground and think there is a way to make them pop. You could go like a blueish gray on the side that is closest to you (Doing my best to describe it exactly). Then on the inside of each shelf, on the four sides, do a strong color that kind of relates to the characters on the shelf. However, prolly don’t want to do like Naruto orange on a shelf just in case you need to shuffle everything around. Then on the far side place some strips of light. The lights might be better on the insides of the shelves to light up the figures. I cannot be sure without seeing it but I think it would bring some real pop to your set. Not the point of the video but figured 💁🏼‍♂️ why not.

hey nick, i think it would help to re-do this video with the new addition of what sukuna actually is. Maybe its possible that sukuna died of natural causes as a human, since he was so strong no one else could kill him. Maybe his servant cursed his death? Maybe the fear of him still being alive by everyone else in japan is what caused him to come back? Maybe the people he protected (or that reverred him in his part of japan) is what brought him back. these are just things to explore.

So negative emotions create an energy that leaks out of humans because they have no control of it, and creates a curse spirit when it manifests, the stronger the spirt, the more likely humans have negative feelings related to that thing, like Jogo being a fire volcano, considering how destructive volcanos are, it makes sense, and Mahito is a representation of the negative emotions humans have towards each other. However I am slightly confused. I get the system, but then why aren’t their blessed spirits? I know that instead of calling the opposite of cursed energy blessed energy, they just call it reverse cursed energy or technique, but like, humans have positive emotions too. So how come we have never sees a blessed spirit? How come there isn’t a positive equivalent to Mahito’s hatred of humanity and instead shows a spirit that is born of the love humanity has for one another? Or the love they have for things like food, music, pets, nature, religion. Has they ever been explained? Is it like “Oh humans leak cursed energy because they subconsciously don’t want to hold onto the negative emotions and energy, but try to hold onto all the positive emotions meaning that the energy produced there does not leak from them enough to create a blessed spirit.” Or something. I ask because it doesn’t make sense to me why only the negative energy leaks from humans beings when we have an entire positive emotional spectrum filled with things that bring positivity. Happiness, laughter, love, compassion, respect. So like, why don’t we see those?
