Really amazing the amount of control you have over all the different vessels at the same time!

Been there done that, a good Deckhand makes a Captain look good and a good Captain makes a Deckhand look good. Towboat team work.👍😎👍

We were on the American Heritage on the lower Mississippi for the last 9 days and were hoping you were down that way. Really low and saw them dreaging down there.

@@marktwained Ouch! & ouch to the 8 hernia surgeries you've had per your statement on the other video! Perhaps you also have 'diastasis recti' which is a separation of the abs at the midline - happens to weightlifters & obese people - but I doubt you have it (I do). 1 more thing & I'll shut up. Someone else asked if you could please add subtitles & you said YT does that; you do have to check a box/setting when you're uploading a video to allow YT to auto-generate subtitles, &/or creators can also create their own subtitles (with editing software) & upload it with the video.

Yeah.. I’m expert having surgery.lol… knee and ankle stuff as well. I am genuinely doing good physically nowadays. I have powerlifting trainer. 👍🏻 I always request check for CC. Sometimes it takes a few days to process that sort of thing. 👍🏻👍🏻

Red some lower river experience on the deck. Then he would have known backing wire and towing wire to control the tow at the minimum.

I have no idea. That is very situational question. In this type of deal, I could probably have tugs above lock downriver, before we hit bridge or dam… more then likely we would just come to rest on underwater sandbank in this area

Since he’s working on the Mississippi River it’s conceivable that he would drift all the way to the Gulf of Mexico.😊

Not sure 25 barges and a 250 foot boat with 8000 hp and experienced help would be better
