Dude i love curta and wall, it just showed up in a mix once and i HAVEN'T EVER STOPPED listening to it. Like it perfectly suits when I play mordhau with my mercenary looking loadout. I don't know where this guy came from. I don't know why he has that "metal scream" voice but it's perfect. It also makes me wish I can make a animated show about a historical medieval setting with this as the soundtrack. It's just so good. Especially with contrast between the metal guy and the woman (if you know their names tell me) I am ABSOLUTELY SIEGE UBSESSED

Like honestly, how the woman takes the role of the "normal woman" during the era. Being soft voiced and talking softly with soft words. The most heinous thing she says is "take an arrow in the eye" which is cartoonish compared to "blunt force exposes brain" And as she sings about reciting the word of God, as she wheels out the dead with their severed heads. Old "metal voice" guy comes back to be cruel again, ending with "My family (WILL) starve". I love it, I love it so much. Like I always wanted to have the talent to sing about the medieval era like this and show the cruelty of it compared to the softness of normal people. And I'm glad someone has that talent. Like this is actually my favorite artist. I want a show about this kind of stuff so bad. Not about knights, not about the crusades (even if I love them, especially as a Christian, of course crusades bad but another topic) not even about a royal guardsmen. I want a show about peasants, the soldiers, the guards of a city, and mercenaries. I want to see their lives get constantly ruined by them being the pawns that the nobility use to solve disputes. I want to see a wasteland of death, I want to watch women come out to bury the dead, singing songs to calm themselves and praying for the dead and weeping for their sons or husbands. And I want to see the nobility at their comfy warm castles getting fat off of meat that they won't let the poor hunt. I want to see despite this cruelty the poor continue to live, to laugh, and to love. I want to see them live in a world that doesn't care but also live in a world with people who do care, and a God who does. (Not trying to force religion upon you. But everyone in Europe was Christian, even if you was an evil sc*m bag you believed in God, and Catholics believed they must save people from d*mnation by forcing God upon them. These scare tactics can work on those who already believe, like disciplining your dog that you owned for years. But it doesn't work on those who don't. You don't save a stray by yelling at it and threatening to hurt it. You should show the love and warmth of your home. And that's how they should have wanted to spread the word of God. It's a religion of love worshipped by people who can, and have misinterpreted it and used it as an excuse to hurt, main, and steal from people. Religion is important to the European people at this time, especially considering how death was so common, and the endless boredom in your days can drive you to want to enlist because if you die. You'll go to heaven, if you don't. You get decent pay, good friends, thrilling fights, and bread and ale.)

because medieval times were brutal. one could argue that medieval combat was worse than modern combat aside from this, if you werent involved in combat you still werent safe, as there were plagues and wars sweeping across land 24/7, and usually logistics were robbing the local area for food and supplies or you could just be a peasant, working your ass off until you die with 0 rights
