My parents have been "apart" for almost 20 years and they both will still cry when this song is put on. Coming from a divorce home, it's nice to still see love.

I like sax too, but for me it is the intense feel he conveys in his voice on this song. Curtis is a great sax player, but I happen to think he is an even better vocalist :)

Saw the great man performing to an audience of a couple of hundred people in Kilkenny 2 nights ago . Mesmerising performance. If you get a chance don't hesitate to go . Brilliant artist and performance

The 90s was THE era of the power ballad...and great sax solos....and great vocalists like this! What a great decade for music of all genres! I know nostalgia can play tricks on you and make you think things were better in hindsight than they really were but, man, I miss those times! For the music and entertainment at least..

Curtis Stigers has PASSION and soul! It's not just in his voice, it's in his actions. He gives benefit concerts to this day . Innocence Project, a homeless shelter benefit, lots! His music has changed, but not his soul and passion!

I went with friends to a concert that Curtis gave in London and after his performance he came into the small bar and chatted with people for ages. I had the chance to have a conversation with him for a while. Top geezer.

Why wasn't this a bigger hit? Why didn't Curtis Stigers soar? I was first attracted to that sax playing and then wow he can sing too! I remember hearing this on the radio and rushing to buy the CD. Still have it.

You may find yourself with tears in your eyes, right about the time you hear those words, but with no idea why. You know this came from Curtis' soul. Crushing and elevating at the same time, it's achingly beautiful. It's one of those songs that, if you wrote it and never another, could validate a career on its own. The saxophone, an instrument lacking in current music, is just the cherry on top.

I live in Boise, ID and thats where Curtis Stigers started out in a band called The Sneakers.....they used to play at a downtown club all the time. He's really talented!!!!

Similarly vivid memory in the summer of the same year of riding with my parents while driving past downtown Kansas City, Mo. Even 25 years later I still play this song when I'm driving the same stretch of highway.
