Curtis "Wall Street" Carroll, the man who famously taught stock investing while incarcerated, has been released after serving 27 years in prison. Curtis shared the harrowing details of his upbringing and family struggles. Born in Washington, D.C., and later moving to East Oakland, Curtis’s childhood was marred by poverty and his family's deep entanglement with drugs. Curtis recounted how his mother, battling a severe drug addiction, often sold her blood for a mere $40 to help sustain their family of four kids, as well as her drug habit. Despite the humiliating and painful process, she persisted due to the dire financial circumstances.

Curtis Carroll is my role model. I First saw his video from Ted presentations wail in University back 2018. After he understood wall street. I also went on a path to understanding Derivatives. Now, I'm one of few individuals from South African Townships. Born without Wealth. Grew up in a fatherless home. Gained the ability to Teach my family members and friends about how wall street whipsaw Humanity off. Soon I Began to teach myself how to build a portfolio from scratch composed of stocks, bonds, futures at age 22.
