Curtiss JN-4 Jenny Flight, March 2016

GoPro footage from the cockpit of the Candler Field Museum's fully restored 1918 Curtiss JN-4 Jenny, buzzing around Peach State Aerodrome in Williamson, Georgia. This truly is a special piece of history, one of only a handful still flying, well maintained by Candler Field Museum members and staff.

I meant that the aircraft crashed, killing both occupants. It's too early in the NTSB investigation at this time but witnesses saw the aircraft on fire before it crashed.

pdutube Just looked it up. Apparently the fault was down to the propellor. It was undersized, rated for a 180bhp engine and not the Jenny's 200, and the weight of the copper cladding on the tips coupled with engine vibration and stress caused it to fail.
