The bible says make no covenants with heathen pagan people. He said knock down their alters and idols. So making the covenants with heathens is what brought condemnation.

Not to get too far off the path of the lesson, but when it was said, does your hand shake mean anything to you? I recalled an obvious spiritual thing of battle that for some time has been of concern to me. I can shake hands with many, and this thing does not happen but a few hands I shake, some almost immediately and for a while afterwards makes my hand and wrist feel so disturbed that no bad language ( i do hold the reins of my thought with no bad language while enduring the effect, angry but sinning not) can describe how disgusting it feels. Makes me not want to shake hands with anyone. Do you think that maybe I should travel alone along life's path to discover what is up or down with this happening? Or, friend, is there something true about this you might be able to enlighten my knowledge and understanding toward?

My guess is what is disgusting you is your own weakness. Perhaps this person is the type that would tempt you to do something disgusting, and the fact that this part of yourself can still be pulled in directions not of Gods will has you angry. It's the work still left to be done. Remember Jesus says "For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him saying, 'this man began to build and was not able to finish.'". There is also Jesus parable about having enough oil for your lamp, which he compared to the Kingdom of Heaven. My guess is you are not fully counting the cost, or not ensuring you have enough oil, and before you can fully complete work in line with Gods will, someone is getting to you and sidetracking you. So I think keeping the oil full might mean giving the commitment of yourself fully to God, so that part is in Gods hands, because no one has power over God. But in that moment when you're getting angry, someone has power over you, not God. Just reading what you wrote, it seems you're definitely imitating Paul, and how Paul writes in the bible, and Paul says to be imitators of him as he imitates Jesus, but it's still not complete. I just read this quote today "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience when your obedience is complete." So Paul says once your obedience is complete you can destroy strongholds and punish every disobedience. That's likely the point you need to get to.
