Hi Pierre, any tips on getting rid of the little bumps/lines that sometimes appear at the base of the brim after curving? Seems that some hats are just destined to do that no matter how careful/how much steam i use 😂

Usually it takes one time but do have to retouch it from time to time.

Steam makes the curve last longer usually, but over time u may need to reshape

Yeah, just use it on the under visor. That will still allow you to curve it the way you like.

I use distilled because it prevents sediment build-up that could cause issues

That sounds like a crease and is tough to fix if it's fixable at all. Try to steam it and smooth it out.

Can i use tap water? I am here in Finland and tap water here is drinkable. We only drink bottled water if we go out of Finland. Its hard to find bottled distilled water here. Thanks

You can, but it may create sediment over time that could steam dirty water and potentially stain your hat. Beware.
