I just got my first fitted had (Chicago bulls) I watched a couple videos on how to curve it and whilst doing it I cracked the brim… tomorrow I will try your method of steam, flatten, hold on water bottle after it hardens… I’ll do it with a pot because I got no steamer. The hat is super comfortable and cool I love wearing it and hopefully will be able to revive the brim… thank you so much I’ll update you when I am done with it!

You should be able to fix it bro the pot is a good replacement method if you don’t own a steamer💪🏼

I just did it… was able to use a hairdryer and I followed the video, I got that perfect curve but the crack is still there what should I do?

@@ryanlitvinko884 you have to steam it. A hairdryer will not do it. It's not the heat that matters, it's the moisture from the steam.

So instead of steaming it and going straight into curving it try steaming it then flattening the brim then let it sit until it gets hard again. Then when you want to curve it use the steam method

I like a slight curve, if I hear the brim and flatten it, let it cool. Will I be able to recurve it slightly? I usually do a mid curve on fitted, but sometimes shit cracks

If you want a slight curve I suggest not to steam the brim

if you cracked the brim, i’d say steam it to flat and then let it dry flat. then you can either steam again and curve around a larger water bottle, or hand curve it slightly little by little
