I composed a song called "All These Worlds Are Yours" to showcase the versatility of The AVANC.
The expected use of an instrument like this would be to lay down some brutal riffs and melt some faces. But the Avanc’s strong suit is clean tones. It takes minimal effort to tap the strings and produce punchy mid-range cleans with sharp compressed attacks. The Avanc excels at dreamy chords with wide intervalic ranges. It made more sense to show off its versatility rather than crush bones to dust with merciless riffs.
There are no synths in this song. All the melodies and pads are guitar running through a Fractal Audio FM3.

Yeah, but this is ridiculous. The bridge pickup on the lowest strings became a middle pickup because of the giant distance. These arched frets makes absolutely no sense.

@@Cestariarts in what way does it "not make sense?" This is exactly the type of ridged thinking that limits creativity. The pickup working as a middle pickup on some strings and a lower on other is a very unique quality of the instrument that was definitely intentional, this isn't the first guitar he's built. Sure, it may not produce the expected result when playing other pieces of music, but the exact point is to not produce the expected result.

The mathematics that must have gone into making this guitar boggle my mind. It looks really cool. Personally, I like the looks of guitars with a head more than ones like this without one. The body style is really nice looking and seems very practical for sitting down playing. Sort of like an Abasi and Strandberg style blended together.

Thanks for noticing. The drums are the old Superior Drummer plugin with one of the metal sample packs. All running through a drum buss with some drive and compression.
