Saint Laurent Loulou vs College bag comparison

Hey guys! This was a requested video from Bun L. It’s a comparison between the Saint Laurent small Loulou and medium College bags. I forgot to say the dimensions of the Loulou bag. It's 10" x 7" x 4". Thanks for watching!

The LouLou is more impressive but tbh I'd go for the College bag. I need a back pocket or some kind of outer pocket. I absolutely hate storing my phone inside my bag. Plus I'm a gray fiend. Black is awesome but contrary to popular belief it doesn't go with everything. I have never found a black that goes with lighter pastels whereas gray does. Thank you for the comparison though. I'm saving up for the College one now that I've seen the difference.

Love your videos! May I respectfully suggest - I think you may be overstuffing your College bag? All high end companies seem to ship their bags with tissue paper folded into smooth pads, and use just enough to hold the bags shape. If you pack the bag too tight (with either tissue paper or stuff 😄) it distorts the side seams pulling them inwards. I’ve adopted this approach and it works well - currently have 121 bags and have just ordered, after dithering for years, my first YSL College bag in medium. Can’t order anything else because I’ve run out of storage space - now listening my vintage bags on Vestiaire 🤗. Keep the videos coming, best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧

I totally would've bought the grey College if I didn't get the grey Kelly earlier this year. I still love the college though. 🤔 It's good to know about the rubbing issue since I'm so hard on my bags. Great comparison!

Thanks for the comparison! I got a dark grey (storm) College bag from Baseblu. So much cheaper than buying in store in Canada. I like to wear my bags crossbody, so the College works better for me.

I've always loved the Collège and your one is just the perfect color way for it! In the end, I chose the Lou Lou but still have my eye out for the Collège if the right one in preloved condition comes to me. Overall, two very beautiful bags and a great addition to any collection. Hello! I think there is very slight wearing on the chain but it’s hard to tell if that’s just the light reflecting on it or if it’s the black worn off. I am very careful with it but it’s unavoidable in some areas.

I have very little rubbing on the chain where it runs against the grommets when changing the length but other than that it’s perfect! I say go for it!

No I don’t find them heavier at all. The chain on the College is heavier, but both bags are about the same weight overall

Hi! It came with the tags, dust bag and booklet but no box. It was a bit smushed in the shipping box but ultimately I don’t think it affected the bag at all
