I Wish these videos existed in my undergrad....Thanks so much for your time and efforts!

I just want to say thank you so much for doing this. Its hard enough being a broke college student studying for the NCLEX but the fact that you have this mini lecture for all of us to use is so thoughtful. Many people have the luxury to spend hundreds on NCLEX prep courses but I feel like Im getting just us much from your videos for free. I almost thought that there was gonna be a catch like "watch the rest of the video after subscribing on this link" or something haha. But honestly thank you. As I am only a few weeks away from my NCLEX this honestly is so helpful.
@RegisteredNurseRN7 жыл бұрын
Hello :) Thank you so much for the awesome comment! I totally understand the broke thing while being a student because that was me lol! I guess that is why I wanted to create a KZbin channel and website that was free for students because I know the struggle with money (and all you want to do is pass NCLEX so you can WORK and make money...finally). I'm so happy you can benefit from the videos. Thank you for watching them. I wish you the best when you take NCLEX. Thank you again for the comment!

Sarah, I know I just thanked you on another video but am thanking you again. I just took my third exam in GIGU and aced it a 45/50. I watched your videos over the diabetes, dka, addisons, cushings, abd saidh. Your side by side comparisons really helped! Last semester I watched your videos for fluid and electrolytes and was one of the few students who passed that exam. I am in my third semester of nursing school and have watched your videos every semester. I enjoy being able to take a quiz after your presentations and seeing if I really understood the info. Thank you, so much Sarah, for taking time to make these videos. I tell other students to watch them too. A lot of material that was unclear in class and in the reading makes sense after your videos. I will be watching your videos for my next exam. I can rely on your videos for professional, accurate, relevant, supplemental info.

hiiii :) I too want to say thank you for doing this! Your videos are amazing and I love the free quiz. Most importantly I am so appreciative for the free notes that go along with the lecture. I have been known to pull up word and take notes as I watch videos by pausing and going back to push play, etc. Your notes allow me to watch your video with my full attention on you and the topic being taught. I then can review the notes on your site! This saves me so much time and I believe is allowing me to really absorb the material. THANK YOU! Sarah

Hello Sarah :) You're most welcome! THANK YOU for taking the time to write me this awesome comment. It feels so good to hear that you are enjoying the quizzes and lectures notes because I really never know what people like or don't like...so knowing you like the quizzes and notes really helps me for the future videos. On the newest videos, I'm placing the link for the lecture notes in the KZbin description rather than the video because KZbin prefers we don't use annotations anymore (people who use mobile devices can't see the annotation). So, if you can't find them in the video the link will be there. Again, thank you so much for your comment. I wish you the best in your studies, and thanks for using my channel :)

Hello! I happened upon your video. I was diagnosed with Cushing's disease In 2014. I was surgically treated that same year and was declared to be in remission. Then I experienced a recurrence in 2018 but was not diagnosed until 2020. In March of that year, I underwent gamma knife radio surgery and two years later I'm still awaiting remission. I just wanted to note that indeed cortisol is the main culprit in Cushing's disease. However in my case, my aldosterone levels were through the roof with both of my battles with this disease. And it makes total sense because my blood pressure was uncontrollable even with meds, and I retained an enormous amount of sodium / water. I know others who maintained healthy aldosterone levels throughout their journey with Cushing's. This disease affects everyone differently, but I wonder if in the more severe cases, aldosterone levels are exaggerated as well? Just a theory. Wonderful video!

Good video. (You need better lighting). Even as an RN with 40 years' experience and being a nursing professor, I have never understood or remembered this stuff. My complex endocrine exam is on Wednesday and I have been watching all of your videos regarding the subject. I felt like I learned nothing in class but your videos have been helping me understand content so much better! This is the last exam of the semester before heading into capstone next Sunday, then pinning in December! Thank you so so much for posting these videos, I know I'll be referring to them for nclex review and when I start working to refresh my memory.
