A Perfect Start to the Summers with this easy and delicious Custard Cake!
This cake is guaranteed to make your Tea time special.
It is soft, fluffy and jiggly!
Enjoy making it at home!
INGREDIENTS
- 4 eggs
- (⅗ cup) sugar
- (1 ⅛ cup) flour;
- 450 ml (1 ⅘ cup) milk;
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Lemon Zest
METHOD:
Whisk all of the listed ingredients together until smooth.
Pour into a greased and floured 20 cm baking pan.
Bake at 170C/340F for 1 hour. Leave to cool down before slicing and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Insert a toothpick and check if its comes out dry not wet. That means its ready 😊
