Thank you for making these videos. I have over 8 years of custodial experience but in 2 days I start working at a school as a custodian for the first time.

I tried out your window cleaning technique tonight and I could see the difference in the finish straight away. I won't be going back to using a microfibre cloth. My glass always looked greasy when I used a microfibre cloth, but tonight there wasn't a mark left behind. The glass cleaner I have isn't the best and runs everywhere.

Dawn soap and water works good. Yeap there’s no turning back.

Yup...nothing beats cleaning glass with a squeegee. Dawn dish soap helps break down grime, keeps window from flashing off dry too quick before cleaning and also helps lubricate the squeegee blade for smoother glide and dirty solution removal. For what its worth I usually mist my applicator a little before cleaning so it cleans and does not remove my cleaner before I get to clean with it..lol. It will pick up liquid as you do more window so misting again isnt usually needed. Hey...great video!!

@@dmoney4414 Me too. You want a perfect window squeegee is the only way to go. I use to use a squeegee on chalkboards also since we had teachers that didn't like streaks on them as well.

Wow, never heard of the dawn method. That stuff has so many uses! Squeegeeing is really the only way to go, although I need to practice my method to get it more similar to yours. Will you do a more in depth video on spray buffing? That’s what it looked like you were doing at the end.

Thanks Jeff my fiancé was tickled to hear her name lol my name is Dylan and I’m a custodian at the Knox county career center. Thanks for the tip on windows i will try that but for some reason my boss recommends paper towel or rag or micro fiber

When I do a more detailed window cleaning vid. Maybe you can explain to your boss how much better it works faster and easier. Hopefully next holiday I can get that vid done. Paper towels would be my pick if I was forced to pick one of your 3 choices. Have a blessed day.

Hey which vacuum is that that you're using? I would ask my supervisor to get one but from what I understand he just goes behind everybody's back and will say I'm asking for a vacuum like it's a bad thing. I think I might just buy it
