Hi Khemore, Thanks for your comment. I am actually receiving commission for customizing tanks and figures. The weldings were done with epoxy putty. The rust was painted using colour pigment and washed with water or thinner. good luck on your modelling.

Wonderful paint job. Not overdone, stylistically very good. I really like how well you have managed to get a real depth of contrast all over the model. Makes the surfaces very ‘3D’ and realistic. Great work. As pointed out, the roadwheels are not correct, but a really great job. I don’t think the weathering is overdone at all. My only real critique is that there is too much green perhaps. German tanks were obviously painted overall dark yellow, with stripes or splashes of the other colours. But this is a subjective opinion and not an an actual criticism. Wonderful model. Very close to what a panther with at least some combat experience would have looked.

This is the ardennes camo, the Basic colour was green

Hi Jnewboy, Thanks for viewing. Of course I could have done that of replacing all the incorrect parts with the after market gadgets and stuffs, but the final price will be doubled of what I charged my clients. And not all people can afford that. Most of my clients only wanted to have their inexpensive Heng Long tank looks real with my custom works. However, I could always add on some of these replacement parts upon request but it never happens so far.
@henschelporsche111 жыл бұрын
Hi, Tokatt, I used colour pigment and resin to paint the track. The track is metal so you can just sand off the paint to reveal the brushed silver metal look.

Impressive. You'd really be a modeller if you'd show us a tutorial on the process of the conversion.

What colors did you use for the camouflage scheme, German Sand Jalb..... and the others? The result is impressive, congratulations!!
@henschelporsche13 ай бұрын
First thank you for your compliment! The colours used was Tamiya XF-57 Buff for sand, XF-5 (90%) + XF-58(10%), and XF-64 red brown. You can of course adjust as per your taste. Hope that helps, and please subscribe to my channel if you have not thanks!!

It is hard to do now as I didn't take any photos during production and the tank has also been sold. Perhaps with the coming tanks.

Road wheels are wrong They are dished & dont have a flange around the bolts also on the engine deck there are six small lift hooks around the two fan intakes but biggest fault is the angle of the bottom of the Glacis plat is way out. It is on a similar angle to the top Glacis plate. Dont get me wrong your paint job & weathering is great!!

ligerten Thanks for your advice, you do have good eyes. I agree too it is not 100% accurate as it is converted from a Heng Long RC model which you can see how basic and rough it was. Based on the selling price I couldn't have made it more accurate than this. But it did give me great satisfaction after the conversion and detailings despite it is not entirely perfect.
@tioglbred7 жыл бұрын
Yes but I am very jealous of your paint scheme & weathering! A great job! I have built one with all the details but am still working on the road wheels & inner road wheels with the larger rim! There are after market wheels but they cost more than the original kit! I love 1/16 scale but in Trumpeter & Heng Long there is a lot of fiddley scratch building that is obvious due to the scale. I am now doing the Trumpeter M1A1 its finished but OH!! Those tracks are driving me crazy!!

It’s a shame that all that good work is spoiled by leaving the old brass Heng Long antenna Mount in place. Surely this is an easy remedy to remove given the amount of work you have put in?
@henschelporsche14 жыл бұрын
Agreed. But some buyers would use it as a RC tank to play with and I have to leave them the option.
