Well done!!! Being a mobile tech; the high vise is necessary because of getting the trucker back on the road... and not wanting to send them on their way with your tools... lol Really impressive set! The miller Diesel for all the accessories.. makes it that much better! I have a CDL with Triples endorsement and Hazmat which is a money maker! And clean driving record..... Tow bills are super expensive and having a mobile unit like this is a value to small companies!!! Like he said its just to get the truck back to the yard and 9 times out of 10 they don't want to call a tow truck because out in the field it may need a turbo / or just maybe an air fix... and I'll say 7 times out of ten I would call a mobile mechanic and the rest of the time a legitimate driver will be able to diagnose a problem or long term fix... Lot of CDL small companies will ask for prior mechanic skills... lol and I've changed air valves and clamped air lines to limp a vehicle back to the yard.... Although I've never done it but watched it is a guy hitting a deflated tire off the rim with starter fluid (lightly) and throwing a match at it.... we were pulling hay out in the middle of no where and it was fun to watch!!! lol. This technique will actually kill a person.... so hit it light with the fluid and work up from there.... Being a mobil tech I would encounter companies with a catch phrase.... If I don't land you a 50% success rate with my service... then last bill is on me! And safe to say... don't call me again... lol effort vs energy vs paycheck.... simple formula!!!

As a mobile mechanic as well, our trucks are very similar. Same toolbox brand, lights in the bed and cabinets, slide back bed cover, mounted welder/generator. Except his is a 5500 ram with a crane and I’m in a F350 no crane. Love seeing these kinds of tours! Keep up the awesome work!

Ram had a service bulletin out for those trucks it was for the c2 clutch drum snap ring. The snapring will come out and cause a lot of damage to the drum and since the clutches are not depressed it will cause damage also. How I know is because I did that exact job a few months ago the truck had 7k km on it

I use to restore Porsche, & Mercedes Benz cars, on my off fun time I use to Repo, cars, motorcycles, boats, RV’s, & a few offices. I worked out of a Ford E350, with a Diesel, that had 2 fuel tanks, I had a large bottom Snap-On box, and two top boxes, Nitrogen tank to run air tools, & fill tires, mig welder, gas welding equipment, engine hoist… everything on board. That van helped me make a lot of money. I worked from San Diego to Santa Barbara. I’d often sleep in the van, I had two ice chest in it, one for food, the other had drinks. I could work 24/7.

Not hating but that’s a cute little crane .. hey for the work you do maybe that’s all you need.. and you’ve been doing it 19 years brother maybe you don’t lack for space but either those boxes are small or you gotta loose the snap on plastic holders I know it hurts I hated letting mine go (still have them all at home) but with tool box widgets and different organization techniques you can fit so much more if you ever need the room
