CUSTOM 3D PRINTED Tweeter Adapters For AUDI R8

Onto the second stage of a full system upgrade on this Audi R8. The system's focus is sound quality as always, whilst maintaining an OEM appearance throughout. Something that I always try to ensure when carrying out any form of the upgrade is to maintain the integrity of the vehicle and all of its fixings. This episode shows the challenges involved in creating custom tweeter mounts that fit into the factory housing without any modification.

every time you have to print thin wall parts, measure the thinnest part and put in a nozzle with a size that most closely matches it. You get better adhesion, and stronger part... oh and avoid pla at all costs especially in parts that go inside cars, they will warp, deform, get brittle and eventually crack. Try ABS or, if you get get hold of, some good quality ASA as they are much more pliable and heat resistant, especially for tight fit parts. love your work, keep it up!!

Awesome Job - If I were in the UK i would bring my R8 to you, but I'm in the US. Any chance you could sell me the file to use (just for me) or print me some? Did you even make anything for the other larger drivers in the doors?
