Custom 5" Long Range FPV Drone: Wu Tank Flight Time Test

Flight test with DIY 4s 4000mAh Li-Ion 21700 batteries with the long range 5" fpv drone built off of the Wu Tank frame, designed by LeDroneClub and free to download from Thingiverse. There are plenty of videos out there showing you how to build Li-Ion packs for FPV drones, a quick search should yield the results you need if interested in making them yourself!

Have built an apex 4" with similar batteries and prob running similar cruise speeds ( if not more ) And got 20mins , landed at 2.9v when on load . Recover to 3.1v My 5" lr I can't get same flight times for some reason .

5" are generally not going to get the flight time a 4" is. Most 5" frames are much heavier than a 4" so the power to weight ratio is not as efficient on the 5. Granted there are some 5" frames out there that are very light weight and allow for a pretty good efficient long flight. But for the most part if you want a good long range full gopro build the 7" quads are the way to go great speed, long flight time, able to handle the wind pretty good and the power to weight ratio is very good.
