+galacticplastics, Come on man, i was so with you until you whip out this hi-tech, very uncommon, air powered painting aparatus, (yeah i farging know it is just an airbrush), but who the hell actually has onr of those. And then you mention nooooooooothing about if normal acrylic-enamal works, which is the typical action figure paint, NOR IF A NORMAL BRUSH SHOULD BE USED, NOR WHERE TO FIND AN AIRBRUSH, HOW EXPENSIVE THEY ARE, WHERE TO BUY THEM.......Geeeeez, i like what yoy do, but each one of these should be STAND ALONE TUTORIALS. I shouldnt have to back track and retro research your whole operation just so i can familiarize myself on what the HELL YOU ARE DOING.

Acrylics, only acrylics. I never even buy enamel paint. You can use a brush for this technique, just thin the paint a bit so that it's a little translucent. As far as my airbrush setup, I got it from Amazon for like $80. They're an awesome investment!
