Arizona has very little humidity. Out west has dry air, whereas on the east coast the air has more moisture causing 92° to feel like 100°

A really good training tool is a portable bike tire inflator. When Ace is doing something you don’t want him to do you can spray him with air for half a second. It doesn’t hurt the dog it just startles them

I've trained my dog from scratch, he's also my service dog and have helped others train their dogs, for counter surfing, as soon as their paws touch the counter either shake a bottle with loose change, bang a pot or pan, or use a pet corrector which sounds like compressed air, but timing is the key. As soon as the paws touch the counter use one of the corrections, say "no" or "off" and then use correction one more time. Every time his paws touch the counter do that. It just takes time and patience. The time for correcting a dogs undesirable behavior is honestly like a second otherwise you'll correct them and they won't know why, even if you show them or what not. You can use lemon as dogs despise lemon, just rub it on the counter edge, don't put it in their mouth, I know thats popular with people.

Paw health is definitely important and you should get some shoes for him in the summertime. They have ones for summer. You can also use paw wax to help protect their feet. Mason's glasses are a 10!

I forgot when my dog was little we used a water bottle and everytime she was bad we sprayed her and she learned not to do the stuff so I definitely recommend a spray bottle with water
