I am currently performing an EV conversion on a 2003 Jeep Cherokee and your videos are very helpful. Thanks.

That looks like FreeCad. I'd never done Cad before and I used that to produce my coupler for the Leaf motor shaft. Very cool to see you using it for the battery boxes.

Yup, FreeCad, actually really enjoying using it. Not sure I'll be designing anything as complex as a coupler just yet, good going!

It would awesome that you make thermal liquid cooling systems for Nissan Leaf car batteries because they drain pretty bad in hot weather.

Just turn all battery 180, you dont open cables again!

Hi Shane What are the dimensions of the battery pack working on my bug project and looking at the possible battery locations. Thanks so much Karl Nichols
@PerformanceEV3 жыл бұрын
It’s about 820mm wide 445mm high and 320mm deep. Probably need to add a few mm to the width for nuts on the threaded rod and at least 20-30mm to the depth for the wiring at the front.

7:20 PLEASE DO NOT wiggle around with your fingers AND a RING on your finger!! WTF!? You have stacked up 96 Cells with 400 Volt in sum (here diveded in half). Very dangerous and unproffessional!
