Only problem with setting up the poster the way you did, is that it’s not glued to the board, which is ultimately like a giant air bubble. Your best bet, is to buy spray adhesive from a hobby store, and spray the bottom of the poster, then add the grip, and you are set. The bearings thing is pretty common.

That middle part is gonna peel off fast cos the grip is not totally gripped on the board. You should’ve cut the poster more slimmer on its sides.

if you take one of your wheels and roll it over the grip tape it usually helps with the air bubbles

Just use your truck + wheels like a roller to get the air bubbles out. Roll over the top of the deck and it'll get those out just fine. You gotta think outside the box my guy.

I think 100 is worth it if it lasts a long time. I personally bought myself a deck from life skateboards that was a 1 in 1 graphic and it has more pop and lasts a lot longer than a normal skate deck…

I started skating VX Decks because I started always breaking regular ones. 100$ are nothing compared to 50$ if a VX Deck last you 1/2 - 1 year and a regular one breaks after one or two sessions
