From a design perspective I think that the antenna bars on the side are white and the antenna glas on the back are black is killing it a bit just use a black marker to paint them. But otherwise love it. And it was a perfect decision to leave iOS 6 on it. It corresponds very well with the blue housing. : )

For future phones with iCloud lock you can put into recovery mode and cancel the first recover and update they click recovery when holding shifts on windows or control on iOS and install the Ipsw you want to update to and there will be no more iCloud lock

I did this on my old iPhone 6 and the process went perfect until the end, I had ordered new battery adhesive and it came later than the rest of the parts and when it came I had already closed the phone to test it out without the adhesive and when I went to open it to apply the adhesive one of the pentalope screws was completely striped and I was forced to drill it out and it ruined the housing on the bottom 😑

I have a question. So I have an iPhone 5s, but the phone switches off when you just put the screen off. If the device is cold in temperature , it would usually take a while for the device to switch off, if the device is hot, it can switch off almost immediately. I’m not sure what causes this. I took my device in for assessment but I cannot remember the name of the part that’s damaged. Any idea what part it could be?

Man the iPhone 5 is a good phone to repair, not too hard to take apart and just easy enough to fix as they’re arent any super annoying battery adhesive or pesky Touch ID cable, and just big enough to see everything in the phone easily.
