Any reason the bottom cabinets are backless? Is it just a cost saving measure?
@CarpentryPlus2 жыл бұрын
We don’t put backs on any of our base cabinets with doors. Saves on cost and time while installing when we don’t have to cut around outlets. Don’t really see the need when they’re being installed up against a wall.

Do you have any trouble w/ your painted stuff sticking together. I have been using lacquer for yrs, but I have built some raw stuff that the painter has used paint and it is a terrible finish. Your thoughts?
@CarpentryPlus2 жыл бұрын
Generally don't have any issues with enamel finishes. We do however, try not to stack painted parts together and we use door bumpers for the doors and drawers just to be safe

How much did you charge for this if you dont mind sharing? i havent had a customer who wanted MDF cabinets are you using any special tipe of mdf and how do you think it holds up?
@CarpentryPlus Жыл бұрын
I think mdf holds up great in the appropriate conditions. We don't typically use it in kitchens, bathrooms or basements. Generally speaking, in many ways I think it paints better than plywood and is less prone to warping. I think we were in the $4-$5k range for this particular builtin that was roughly 9'w x 9'h
