Highly recommend anyone new to rod building to watch Capt. Lee's entire 101 series. He shares a ton of knowledge and how/ to tips that will save you a ton of time. Wish this content existed when I started building rods. It will prevent you from having to jump channel to channel for individual rod building topics.

what glue should i use to glue them together?

Any good wood glue is fine because cork is just the bark of a specific tree in Portugal. This is what I use. amzn.to/4gqc7ld
