How much does the shaft pull out at ride hight when you turn lock to lock? Do you still have enough engagement at droop and full turn?

I’ve got to cut some drive shafts and always though you had to weld the 2 parts together, then slide a sleeve over. Don’t you find this required and the sleeve on it’s own is enough?

For Motorsport use, I would never used a Sleeve Shaft. For a budget build? Go ahead and sleeve it.

@@GizFabOk cool. You are using these with a K20, what do they put out, 150-200hp? What I’m building wont be that high, maybe 120 at most, so should be ok I guess.

in my opinion You make gbox side driveshaft a bit too short, when both CV joints are on the same level the inner joint goes depeest into the cup, for me You set the inner CV too far out and when the wheel will go down it might bind or pop out

The Inner CV had full engagement at full suspension droop (a bit i failed to film to be able to put it in the video)
