Nobody ever mentions the W clips on the inside of the chrome retainer ring. First time I did this job they fell out and I had no idea how to put them back on. I really wish just one headlight change video would mention those and show how they are installed properly. Thanks.

Exactly those have to be in the right position and with them twisting that ring so far it moves the clips we need a pic of where the clips are before you put it onto the bike

this might be a dumb question, but why does how much amperage you are saving matter? I mean, it's not like you're paying an electric bill for your bike. Second, most people change out their halogen light to an LED because and LED produces better light visibility for the rider as well as makes your more visible to other vehicles.

Saving amperage is good 'cause you can use hook other accesories,running lights,speakers ,charger.
