Incredible results. I'm not in the market, but don't mind the review vids. It's cool to see what tech is out there, and it gave you the opportunity to put your bike proj in there.

Excellent review as always. I am impressed with the layer lines (or lack of visible layer lines) on the headlight fairing. Looks extremely smooth. The quick change print nozzle is cool as well. Impressive machine over all!

I’ve tried on my own buying parts that aren’t meant for the bike and have failed so many times. Please if u could reach out to me and help me I’d be so grateful. Any made in America brands you can promote ?
@JamesBiggar3 ай бұрын
None have reached out for reviews unfortunately. But here's a list of domestic brands if you're looking for one. They're not in this price range though. all3dp.com/1/american-made-3d-printers/

Flashforge flexible PLA. I encourage anyone that has not tried it to yet to get some. It's softer than most of the more affordable TPUs and prints so easily. I rarely have a print go awry. In the case of this fairing you could print some bushings out of the flexible PLA and it would certainly absorb a lot of vibrations. I use it for bushings and handlebar risers on my very over powered pit bike. It makes a big difference. Lowers the body fatigue associated with vibration. Like $26 a kg on Amazon. The other thing I use it for is battery builds. I use PETG for the spacers and then I make an out case for the entire battery out of the flexible and then maybe a PETG outer shell as well though the flexible PLA is quite durable but if you do the soft/hard thing you get the best protection for a high output battery. Vibration damping on your welds on big packs is never a bad thing. Easy to make your own OtterBox for your phone too. Never forget you can put 2 models together in a slicer. Use negative versions in areas and make a soft inner and hard outer case and voila you just made yourself an OtterBox for like $2. That fairing looks nice, it looked a little 2 dimensional in the thumbnail but that looks real nice sir. Very tastefully done.

@@c3N3q How? You can't have cheap products while also having high labor costs and corporate greed. Only way this is possible if you get down to paying Americans what they get paid in China, are you ok with that? I love how people think we just build everything in America at same prices as foreign made products, it's not possible. You can't have it BOTH ways of paying china prices and have it be made in US.
