@@bennettscustomsco You Beauty!!! Just saw why you are so excited building your car, watched the races at Perkolilli. When you mentioned the name I hadn't heard of it, thought it was overseas somewhere, What pisses me, I was born in WA, spent my first 40 yrs there, am a devoted revhead, worked at Kambalda and never heard of the place. Had I known I would have lived there. Almost. Will be watching your build with even more interest.

Looking good! I hear so many jokes about holes in chassis/body panels as a weight reduction measure, it's been a while since I actually saw it being applied to a project. Keep it up 👍

@@bennettscustomsco I can see that as a fellow tall man, one has no choice but to use a Holden gearbox mount and under slung cross member. You might want to consider some corner gusset gussets in your brackets, if there is enough room to fit them. Just a suggestion 😉🙂👍👍

Great work Jordan- Not a lot of days left - You will need to pull the finger out, as they say. Still got to get is assembled and give it a test run - Times ticking!

The project is one of my favorites right now on YT. Amazing fab. May I make a suggestion? I would add a small hole or two through the “I-beam web” so that it doesn’t become a bathtub collecting water and other road debris. All the best…. 👍👍😎👍👍

Should be one cool looking Racer when she's all said and done. I think this final design for more leg room is the key you don't want to be cramping up on the track. making something comfortable will make a huge difference so you can focus on the race. why not eh. Its not like its not achievable. So you might as well, right! have a good one jordan.

Couldn’t have said it better Fon lots more room to squeeze the limbs in and focus on going straight!

Just curious; Why not use 2” x 1” “C” channel, cut the two angles upward, weld them? Seems like a ton of plasma cuts, unless it’s a new tool and you’re practicing….. I’m a carpenter relatively new to welding/fab work… we’re trained to neatly cut & frame with shear ply to gusset everything. Very clean work, obviously a great idea in a limited space.

My understanding of old school American suspension is zero as I grew up here in Australia, as reference I’m 60 and both my grand fathers never owned a car but this build has captured my imagination. Have you included any modern geometry set up or superior parts of any sorts’ ? ‘ into your suspension or is there a formula set of rules your guided by ? Nice 👍❤️🇦🇺 I would love to drive this one increasing to the limit with my inner Fangio spirit . 🫠👍❤️🇦🇺
