....Before you start painting, do you clean/wipe down all surfaces with any solvent, (alcohol/acetone/ etc.)...?!...

Do you put the clear coat on right after you put your base paint on or after you let it cure for a week?? ✌️

You definitely want the paint to be completely dry, or your clear coat can crack. I learned that the hard way.

Shotguns and red dots go great together. Also, are those flip up sights intentionally mounted backwards, or did they come that way and just haven't been changed yet?

I typically don't, but if you do I would use a high temp paint. Or something a little more durable than an enamel.

You should have just hydro dipped a camo graphic. I hear you can get any design with any color scheme you choose

One reason to use a red dot is when shooting clay birds, all you have to do is get them in the sight circle. No need to have the dot exactly on the bird. Just get it inside circle. It’s almost like cheating bro.
