Custom Form Fields in Kajabi

Rebecca, at about 4:51, you mention that the Select Box option allows the person to select more than one response. Are you sure? For me, it allows only one answer out of multiple options.

Hi Stephen, Good catch. Select Box is one option and Check box is more than one.

Hi loved the video. Where do you create and customize the email sequences? I saw that you had some already in the que from the past I'm assuming.

Great question. You create and customize the email sequences for the Marketing tab. Under Marketing, you'll see an option for "Email Campaigns". In this tab, you can create a new email broadcast or email sequence. Broadcasts are typically one time emails and sequences can be one or more emails triggered by some action inside Kajabi. Once created, you can always go back and edit, if needed.

Hi Margie! Thanks for the feedback. The example in the video with the progress bar, was done with the Premiere page theme. When Kajabi added Encore, we gained many amazing new features, but one that we don't see in Encore is the progress bar.... if they get enough requests, they might add it back in the future.

What if I need to collect a birthday that needs to be in a data type (not text or dropdown...))? I need people to write it always in the same way so that I can calculate the age and offer different products...

For something like this, you may need to go with a third-party form like Jotform, which can then be integrated with Kajabi using Zapier. I use Jotform for several data collection requirements, because it is much more versatile in the type of data you can collect and it embeds beautifully into Kajabi.

what can we do when we exceed the custom fields and want to add more fields when it shows exceeded max custom fields

I've run into this a few times and most of the time you can call Kajabi support and they can unlock a few more fields.

When I hit the max custom fields, it's a great trigger to review my fields and see if I can clean some of the up a bit. After that, I contact Kajabi support and request additional fields.
