Graham, thanks for the detailed walk through! We are already kajabi members and have a course there. Now, we are building a membership site and community and thought about using Kajabi for that to keep things under one roof. The thing is, for us, this is our end goal: Have the member login from a landing page. Then they are in the membership site (BUT) this is a full fledged site with multiple pages of content. Different sections, etc. Community(ies) is part of this as well. From my research, and seeing you take us through the backend, Kajabi for this piece doesn't seem to fit. Kajabi can build membership PAGES, but not full-fledged membership sites. I could be wrong. THe membership section needs multiple pages, blogs, videos, ect that is all accessed after they login. Is this possible in Kajabi? The team has proposed social engine as an option for this membership site. THANK YOU for the time to read this. I appreciate it.

Kajabi seems like it would solve so many of my problems with trying to develop a membership program and develop a course, and my website, and my email campaigns. Love your videos and your enthusiasm for the products. two questions: what type of microphone are you using (great quality) and my membership currently offers a schedule of classes that anyone can sign up for (yoga, meditation, webinars, etc.). Do you know if there is a similar function on Kajabi, or a plug-in to use on kajabi?

Using a Rode Rodecaster mic here. As far as memberships in Kajabi, they don't have a schedule of content like that people can sign up for, however you can unlock all kinds of new content each month in your membership. Wow, this has been so useful, thank you!! QUESTION. I am creating an online course with Kajabi that people can do at their own pace, and I am planning to have separate topics inside the community so people can comment and ask questions related to each module separately. Once the move on to the next module, they should go and post comments in the next section, so they interact with people who are at the same stage. Does this sound reasonable to you, or would you suggest I do it any other way? Thx!

What guidance might you have for me if I'm planning a 3-tier membership site (e.g. silver, gold, platinum), where each tier adds on products on top of the previous tiers' products? It gets complicated as the products are diverse: knowledge library, weekly live Q&A, Community forum (and a separate one for Platinum), weekly lesson, monthly workshop, monthly challenge. For each tier, there is a monthly plan and an annual plan. How can these be structures in terms or offers/products in a way that it would be easy and friendly for the user?

Hey Graham! Solid content, appreciate it, looks so much easier than I imagined! Do you find that people are as engaged in the Kajabi community as much as Facebook? I always thought people wouldn't come here as much as FB and the engagement would be much higher there because a lot of people are already there. Curious what your experience is. Cool that Kajabi has this option for community, super bad ass! Also, how is your membership set up and delivered? I saw you have content and live Zoom calls, so is your content pre-made and uploaded and then you do a call once per week or month etc? Always great to see how other creators are setting their groups up. :-)
@GrahamCochrane3 жыл бұрын
Hey Scott - great questions. Engagement is solid in my Kajabi Community. While not as powerful as a FB group (with all the notifications, etc) it certainly works for me. Personally I don't use FB anymore and I'm finding more and more people say the same - so it's a better alternative for your community rather than alienating people who have left FB. Yep. I upload a new class each month, then do a live Zoom each month.

Amazing info! Well presented... Is it possible to drip content based on the completion of a lesson? Example, 48 hours after completing lesson 1, lesson 2 becomes available.... If they never take lesson 2, lesson 3 never appears. Once they take lesson 2, lesson 3 appears after a 48 hour delay or whatever delay I set... Is that possible in Kajabi. No problem at all. You can make plenty of money on the basic plan that if you ever wanted more than the product limit allows you can afford to upgrade to the next plan. Fees are not an issue with Stripe or Paypal as they mostly charge the credit card fees that are necessary to accept online payments.

Great questions. So moving people from a FB group to a Kajabi community might be hard, especially if it's a free group. I am trying to build a monthly membership site with a new lesson dripped out every month. That being said, is it possible to only give access to certain months based on if a person has paid for that month. Example: A member joins in January and then stops in March. Then they rejoin in June which means when they rejoin they will only have access to Jan/Feb/Mar/Jun and onward. This way they don't have access to the months they didn't pay for since it would be unfair to other members who have stuck around and paid for every single month. OR A member joins in January and then stops in March. Then they rejoin in June but they will only have access to June onward. Meaning they only have access from their subscription date and the future months (none of the past months)
@GrahamCochrane3 жыл бұрын
Great question. I used to think this way and structure my memberships this way, but now I don't do that. Your membership should give anyone access to all the previous content. That makes it more valuable to new people. Your previous members aren't missing out because they've had access to you and the community for all those months prior. Remember your content is only 30% of your membership.

One path is direct to consumer and they just pay for the course. The second is creating a membership/subscription for a service provider to pay a monthly fee for their customers to access the academy thus enhancing their customer experience and compliance to therapy. I am not sure if this is possible with Kajabi or any other LOL? I mapped it out that the SP has an access code they email the patient for a single use access. I hope that makes sense? I signed up and I'm having an awful experience. It won't let me upload youtube videos, the membership option doesn't come up with this link and the whole experience has just been one thing that doesn't work after the other.

Hey Graham. As much as I love Kajabi and it's a no brainier, at this moment I can't afford to pay the 199/month. I was gonna ask about WordPress, what would you suggest? It's kind of overwhelming to see so many hostings and all. Hope to hear from you
@GrahamCochrane4 жыл бұрын
It can be overwhelming. If you get a good host they can install Wordpress for you and help you get setup. Otherwise, if you can come up with a quick offer (mini course, coaching, etc) you could try the 28 day free trial of Kajabi and make enough money during that first month to pay for a few months of Kajabi!

Thanks! It sounds like a good plan!

Just curious as to how Kajabi handles paying out the revenue you've made (e.g. frequency and payment method)?
@GrahamCochrane4 жыл бұрын
So Kajabi integrates with Stripe and PayPayl. Stripe actually collects payment for you and deposits it into your bank account daily.

Did Kajabi do away with topics inside of a community? Are are they still available?

Hey Graham, which Kajabi template do you think is best for a membership with a lot of posts? I post 4 new workouts each week for my members.

Are there any other alternatives to this for someone who is just starting?

Hey Graham, my new product page doesn't seem to offer me a member or mini course option. I have course, community, coaching and podcast only. Any tips?

Should we be building everything in the Partner screen? What's the difference? I just signed up and am so confused by these two options- I know Partner allows you to earn a commission but where should we house everything in our regular account or that one? I notice you used Partner.
@GrahamCochrane2 жыл бұрын
No - the Partner account is just if you want to promote Kajabi as an affiliate. IT also gives you a practice website/business to create content like this to show how to use Kajabi. You don't need the Partner account. Just use the main account for your business.

Hey friends does anyone know how to create those links in the Momentum theme? Thanks much!

How do you get the direct link from the category to the membership? From left side bar not right @grahamcochrane

Thanks Graham. I'm going to use your affiliate link. Quick question on the video above, what other engagement do you tend to provide week to week with your community. From what you present it looks like they would have a course plus the community but would be interested in what you recommend as host-engagement. Cheers
@GrahamCochrane4 жыл бұрын
Great question - week to week I'm in the community answering questions. One week is a live coaching call. One week is a brand new master class training. And in between I sometimes create bonus content or start good conversations.
@ummamuhammad54063 жыл бұрын
Do you have a suggestion for setting up a weekly live call in Kajabi that is a part of a membership?
@GrahamCochrane3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, just use a private Zoom link or KZbin Live link that you share in the community. Then you can upload the recording in Kajabi.
